Dell Launches Two 4K Monitors Supporting LG’s Exclusive IPS Black Technology

Recently, Dell has launched two new series of 4K monitors, the 27-inch Dell and the 32-inch. Both monitors use the latest LGD IPS panels and support IPS Black technology, which can improve the contrast of the IPS panels and provide deeper black performance while ensuring clarity, color, and viewing angles.

IPS Black is LG’s exclusive technology and was demonstrated at the show held earlier this year. LG currently has no monitors that support this technology on the market, and the two new products launched by Dell this time are considered the first. The 4K panels used by these two monitors have a contrast ratio of 2000:1, maximum brightness, support 100% color gamut and sRGB color gamut, and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Both monitors support USB-C hubs, which can be connected to a computer using a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable and implement 6 USB 3.2 downstream ports, as well as expansion of RJ45 Ethernet and 3.5mm audio interfaces.

In addition, Dell also supports KVM switching and PiP and PbP split-screen functions, supports vertical rotation, supports left and right and pitch angle adjustments, and can also be wall-mounted using a standard 100×100 VESA bracket. In terms of selling price, Dell sells it for US$779 (approximately RMB 5,000), and Dell sells it for US$1,149 (approximately RMB 7,300).
